GTS started out as an idea from one of the company’s board members. It began when this individual was asked for a referral by a foreign government legislator and long-time friend.
Knowing that this board member was engaged in multiple businesses, the legislator asked his friend if he had connections to people who could help him source staff and manpower for his province’s constituents-in particular, care workers.
For in the province where this legislator worked, the shortage of human resource has been a long-standing, severe, and ever-worsening problem.
Having been asked a referral, this board member began to ask any business partners he knew for leads to known, reputable recruitment agencies. It wasn’t until one of these partners threw the question back at him and asked him instead if it was a better idea for them to setup the agency themselves.
Initially, the idea wasn’t as appealing to the board member—as he already had multiple concurrent engagements. However, as a known personality in his own province himself, he saw this as an opportunity to help his own local province0-by means of providing jobs.
Now with their interests aligned, the two individuals set the pieces in motion to put up the recruitment agency.
As successful, accomplished, and experienced businessmen, they each tapped into their own circles to help form a dedicated team with the necessary skill sets and connections to establish the agency.
From there, the board of directors was formed and the formal incorporation of the business was done. Unsurprisingly, the foreign legislator who requested for help was on-board with the idea and committed his cooperative to serve as the virgin principal for the company.
With a proper agency-client relationship founded, the board of directors set out to make GTS a reality.
